JOHN LAWRENCE FELCZUK

John Lawrence Felczuk, 70, of the 200 block of Ritz Craft Dr., died Aug. 1, 1995. He retired as Chief (E-7) Chief Commissary Man after over 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy.

He was born in Scranton, Pa. He was a member of Church of the Ascension of Virginia and 116th BN SEABEE's.

Survivors include his wife, Hilda Green Felczuk of Virginia Beach; three daughters, Mrs. Bernadette A. Dean and her husband, Christopher R. of Ashland, Ky., Mrs. Laura M. Edmunds and her husband, Robert T. of Virginia Beach, and Jacqueline Felczuk of Norfolk; one son, David A. Felczuk of Hampton; three sisters, Zophie Paulsen of San Bernadino, Calif., Mary Megdalene Golembiewski of Detroit, Mich., and Antionette Czyzyek of Scranton, Pa.; one brother, Anthony Felczuk of Clark Summit, Pa.; two grandsons, Brian T. Edmunds and Benjamin T. Dean; one granddaughter, Courtney M. Edmunds; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Aug. 4, 1995, at 7:30 p.m. at 4853 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach, Church of the Ascension. Father James Parke will give a Liturgy of Resurrection. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor's choice. Altmeyer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
