William George Davidson, 83, died Aug. 21, 1995, in Riverside Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Davidson was born in Aulander, N.C., and was retired from the Newport News Coca Cola Bottling Co. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty C. Davidson; three sons, William A. Davidson of Charlotte, N.C., Charles W. Davidson of Fredericksburg, Va., and Melvin R. Davidson of Newport News; five sisters, Marie Lassiter of Colerain, N.C., Fannie Carlisle of Norfolk, Nellie D. Cowan of Virginia Beach, June Culpepper of Portsmouth and Shirley Fitchette of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, James C. Davidson of Portsmouth and George Davidson of Virginia Beach; five granddaughters; and one grandson.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Riverside Baptist Church, by the Rev. Tommy Davidson. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park. Riverside Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Contributions may be made to Riverside Baptist Church Building Fund, 7409 River Road, Newport News, Va. 23607.
