MEGAN G. FENTRESS

Megan Gunn Fentress, 34, recently of Harborview Drive, Kill Devil Hills, N.C. 27848, and a resident of Virginia Beach most of her life, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

She was a native of Ridge Crest, Calif. She was a devoted daughter of Max C. Gunn Jr., Comdr. U.S.N. retired, and Barbara Casey Gunn of Great Neck Estates, Virginia Beach, and the beloved wife of Anthony E. Fentress. She attended Nags Head Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, mother and father, Megan is survived by two daughters, Casey L. Fentress and Grace E. Fentress, both of the home; one sister, Susan Madsen of Oxnard, Calif.; and five brothers, Jeff Gunn of Portsmouth, N.H., Brad Gunn of England, Steve Gunn of Los Angeles, Calif., Tim Gunn and Pat Gunn, both of Virginia Beach.

My beautiful wife, Megan, who was loved by her family, friends, husband and daughters is now walking with Jesus.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Avenue Chapel, by the Rev. Jackie L. ``Jack'' Soul. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the education fund of Casey and Grace Fentress, c/o East Carolina Bank, P.O. Box 9, Kitty Hawk, N.C. 27949.
