Dr. Thomas Emmett Smith, of Norfolk, formerly of Gloucester County, died Monday, Aug. 28, 1995.
He is survived by his wife, Dean Robertson Smith; two brothers, Douglas Page Smith of Williamsburg, formerly of Manassas, and John Edward Smith of Falls Church; and several nieces and nephews.
His remains rest at the Joseph W. Bliley Funeral Home, Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
