ROZITA C. BODDIE

Sgt. 1st Class Rozita Charelle Boddie, 42, of 52109-1 Calusa Court, died Aug. 26, 1995, in Scott-White Hospital, Temple, Texas.

She was born in Norfolk, and was a member of Commanche Community Chapel, Fort Hood. She was also a member of The Sisterhood.

Survivors include her husband, James Arthur Boddie; one stepdaughter, Tonya E. Watson of Fort Hood; two sons, Antonio D. Lockett of Fort Campbell, Ky., Antuan D. Lockett of Norfolk; one stepson, Kevin Boddie of Norfolk; her mother, Fannie Wells Lockett of Norfolk; two sisters, Marian Richardson and Beverly Lockett, both of Norfolk; one brother, Ronnie Wells of Norfolk; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in United House of Prayer For All People (NU)1 by Apostle W.R. Scott. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park with full military honors. The remains will be ready for viewing from 10 a.m to 8 p.m. today. The family will assemble at 639 Goff St. for the procession at noon. The remains will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Saturday. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
