John H. Walden Jr., died Monday, Sept. 4, 1995, at Manor Care Fairs Oaks Nursing Center.
John H. Walden Jr. was the brother of Retha Sellers, Diane Jenkins, Christine Brown, Annette Jenkins, Doris Virgies, James Walden, Fletcher Walden, and Michael Jenkins; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a devoted friend Charlotte Stokes and other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m in New First Baptist Church of Taylorsville, Portsmouth, with the Rev. T.M. Steel officiating. The remains will be placed in church at noon for viewing. Interment will be in Green Lawn Memorial Garden. Baker/Chinn Funeral Home in charge.
