EDWARD C. TURNER

Edward ``Buddy'' Casey Turner, 67, of Chesapeake, died on Sunday night, Sept. 10, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.

He was a retired central office repairman for C&P Telephone Company after 32 years of service. Following his retirement he worked for Farm Fresh for 10 years. He was born in Alabama and was the son of the late Alice Egan and James Arthur Turner.

Mr. Turner was a member of the Communications Workers Union of America, AFL-CIO, its Retired Members Club and the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Cook Turner; a daughter, Diane D. Turner of Chesapeake; three sons, James E. Turner of Norfolk, Gary L. Turner of Moyock, N.C., and Carl S. Turner of Chesapeake; and five grandchildren, Brook, Lauren, Logan, Casey and Mackenzie.

A chapel funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 1995, in Cox Funeral Home by Dr. John F. Payne. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Cox Funeral Home this evening from 7 until 8 p.m. for visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
