LILLIAN J. BARCO

Lillian B. Jones Barco, 87, died Sept. 27, 1995, at the Britthaven Nursing Home in Edenton, after a long illness.

She was the wife of the late William Thomas Barco, and a native of Roper, N.C. She was a resident for many years of both Norfolk and Richmond, Va. Mrs. Barco was a member of the Laurel Methodist Church in Varina, Va. and was a charter member and first President of the Varina Woman's Club.

Mrs. Barco was the daughter of the late James Milton and Alethia Reason Jones, formerly of Jamesville, N.C., and is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Lillian and son-in-law, William Bangert of Edenton; two brothers, James Jones and Rudolph Jones; three sisters, Pearl Bailey, Elsie Wilson, and Alberta Burgess, all of Richmond; two grandsons, Mark Bangert and Matthew Bangert; and two great-grandsons, Kyle and Tyler Bangert, all of Boston, Mass.

A graveside service will be held in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk, Saturday, at 11 a.m. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bangert, 238 Country Club Drive, Edenton. Memorial donations can be made to the Edenton United Methodist Church. Evans Funral Home in Edenton is in charge of the arrangements.
