Luther Herbert Beal, 81, of the 800 block of Old Butts Station Rd., died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 1995.
Mr. Beal was a retired floor sander. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church of Chesapeake, and was a native of Chatham County, N.C.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mildred Evelyn Beal; two sons, Clayton Luther Beal of Augusta, Me., and Donald Herbert Beal of Chesapeake; three sisters, Alma Hewitt and Mildred Fentress of Chesapeake, Addie Marsh of Richmond; one brother, Roosevelt Beal of Chesapeake; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Sept. 29, 1995, at 2 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Frost officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake.
