JAMES F. TAYLOR

James F. Taylor, 74, of the 1200 block of Highland Ave., died Oct. 5, 1995.

Mr. Taylor, a retired brakesman from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, was a member of New Garden of Prayer (NU)4. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine L. Taylor; two daughters, Carolyn Harris, Odell Windley; one sister, Maggie Taylor; one brother, George Taylor; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one daughter, Cynthia Taylor.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in New Garden of Prayer (NU)4, by the Rev. Samuel Moore. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Portsmouth. The family will be at the residence. Fisher Funeral Home in charge.
