EDWARD E. PALMER

Edward Eugene Palmer, 63, died Oct. 4, 1995.

A native of Isle of Wight County, he was a Methodist. He retired from Allstate Insurance as a manager. He was a paratrooper of the 11th Airborne Division of World War II (Army). He attended Morgan State College.

Survivors include a son, Keith ``Kep'' Palmer of Willingboro, N.J.; a godson, Ricky Woolridge of Carrollton; one uncle, Otis Palmer of Carrollton; four aunts, Ruth Clarke of Newport News, Ada Rose of Norristown, N.J., Frances Travis of Hampton, Earline B. Allmond of Smithfield; one grandson, Marcus Palmer of Willingboro, N.J.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Macedonia AME Church, Carrollton. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A wake will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today in Pretlow and Chapman Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Saturday. The family will receive friends at 6 St. Catherine Drive, Carrollton.
