14TH PEANUT FESTIVAL TO CONTINUE TODAY WITH RIDES, EXHIBITS

Suffolk's Peanut Festival will continue today from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free; parking is $5 a car.

Throughout the day there will be carnival, pony and monster-truck rides, a petting zoo, a casting competition, bingo, hands-on demonstrations, strolling entertainers, arts and crafts exhibits, commercial displays and concession stands.

Today's highlights include the 14th annual invitational Peanut Fest volleyball tournament at 10 a.m., a peanut butter sculpture contest at 11 a.m. and the McLamb Rodeo at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
