IDA S. WILSON

Ida S. Wilson, of the 1000 block of Anderson St., died Oct. 19, 1995, in her home.

She was a native of Dinwiddie, Va., and was the widow of Harrison B. Wilson. She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Norfolk, where she was a member of the senior choir, the Women's Fellowship, and Pastor's Aid. She was also a member of Silver Strands Senior Citizens Club. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila M. Ford.

She is survived by her sister, Virginia Pegram of Dewitt, Va.; three brothers, Jessie Street of Sutherland, Va., Rev. William S. Street of Petersburg, Va., and Howard Street of Dewitt; one grandchild, Desmond L. Ford of Lawton, Okla.; son-in-law, Bernard L. Ford, of Lawton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Anthony Taylor and the Rev. Joseph M. Copeland in Union United Church of Christ. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Monday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Tuesday. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
