CRIME REPORT

DISTRICT A

Breaking and entering, 4600 block Maplewood Drive, Oct. 5, someone entered a house and removed items including money and clothing. The person appears to have eaten and taken a shower in the residence.

Breaking and entering, 6000 block Camellia Drive, Oct. 7, someone entered a residence by kicking in the back door. A Philco VCR, two gold rope chains and several business checks were among items removed.

Breaking and entering, 5600 block Frank St., Oct. 10, someone entered a residence by kicking in the back door. The intruder was scared off when the occupants drove up.

DISTRICT B

Grand larceny, 3400 block Princeview Drive, Oct. 8, someone removed several items from two boats stored in the yard.

Breaking and entering, 2800 block Godwin Blvd., Oct. 10, someone cut the padlock and forced open the door of a trailer used as an office-workshop.

Breaking and entering, 2800 block Godwin Blvd., Oct. 11, someone entered a residence by forcing open a rear door. Items removed included $75 and one set of gold wedding rings valued at $225.

DISTRICT C

Forgery and uttering, 1000 block West Washington St., Oct. 5, someone forged a signature on a check for $2,000.

Petty larceny, 1500 block North Main St., Oct. 7, someone ordered an alternator for a car and left without paying.

Breaking and entering, 900 block McKinley Ave., Oct. 8, someone entered a home and ate a piece of cake. The screen in the kitchen window had two small holes in it, and the bedroom window screen was also torn.

Grand larceny, 1300 block Emma Ave., Oct. 10, someone advised that his Motorola cellular phone is missing.

Strong-arm robbery, 200 block South Wellons St., Oct. 11, a woman was approached by two men, who knocked off her eyeglasses and snatched her purse. The men beat her to the ground and fled.

DISTRICT D

Petty larceny, 300 block Carolina Road, Oct. 5, someone removed a Virginia sticker from a vehicle while it was being repaired.

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle, 400 block Bullock St., Oct. 5, someone drove a brown and beige, 2-door, '76 Pontiac Grand Prix with star chrome wheels without permission and has not returned it.

Breaking and entering, 1000 block Cogic Square, Oct. 7, someone entered a residence by forcing open the rear door. An undetermined amount of food stamps was removed.

Assault and battery, 1000 block Cogic Square, Oct. 7, someone reports that a woman cut him with a knife after an altercation.

Throw missile at motor vehicle, Constance Road and Katherine Street, Oct 8, someone reports that several people threw eggs at a moving car.

Breaking and entering, 300 block Moore Ave., Oct. 8, someone entered a business by forcing the locks. About $10 worth of copper wire was removed.

Breaking and entering, 200 block Locust St., Oct. 8, someone entered a model home sales office.

Breaking and entering, 100 block Virginia Ham Drive, Oct. 8, someone entered a business by breaking a window.

Obtain money by false pretenses, 1300 block White Marsh Road, Oct. 9, someone paid a man $10,800 in cash for a contracted construction job. The money was to have been paid to a loan company, but the person allegedly kept the money and never completed the work.

Breaking and entering, 2300 block East Washington St., Oct. 9, someone entered a concession stand by pulling out a board.

Breaking and entering, 1000 block Cogic Square, Oct. 10, someone entered a residence by breaking a window. Money was removed from under a mattress.

Grand larceny, 100 block North 8th St., Oct. 11, someone removed a 13-inch black and white RCA TV valued at $75 and a JVC AM/FM dual cassette, CD player valued at $500 from a residence.

Breaking and entering, 200 block Carolina Ave., Oct. 11, someone entered a business through the bottom portion of a front door plexiglass window pane. Two cases of 40-count hamburger patties valued at $14 were removed, and the office area was ransacked.

Grand larceny, 1100 block Myrtle St., Oct. 11, a vehicle was towed to a garage for safekeeping after an accident. A Sony CD player was allegedly removed from the car.

DISTRICT E

Sexual battery, South Quay Road, Oct. 5, a man grabbed a woman.

Vandalism, 100 block Fairfield Drive, Oct. 7, someone damaged the driver's side of a vehicle by kicking it.

Petty larceny, 7600 block Harvest Drive, Oct. 7, someone removed a Virginia license sticker from a vehicle parked at a residence.

Breaking and entering, 5500 block Holland Road, Oct. 9, someone entered a residence by breaking out a window. Several household appliances were removed. by CNB
