LEROY T. BOONE

Leroy T. Boone, 56, of the 300 block of Bertwick Lane, died Oct. 21, 1995, in his home.

Mr. Boone was a native of Norfolk and a member of First Baptist Church, Berkley. He was the son of the late William E. Boone and Otelia Bryant-Boone. Mr. Boone was a self-employed florist and he was retired from Bonnie Belo Corp. as a manager after 24 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include one daughter, Miss Carlotta Boone of Chesapeake; six sisters, Mrs. Joycelyn Bullock and Rev. Carlene Thorbs of New York, Mrs. Jacquelyn White and Mrs. Delores Joyner of Chesapeake, Mrs. Beverly Harris of Virginia Beach, and Miss Ira Boone of Norfolk; three aunts; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Gene E. Boone.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church, Berkley, by the Rev. Theodore Little. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. P.G. Thomasson Funeral Services in charge. The family will be at 321 Bertwick Lane. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
