CHARLES EDMONDS

Charles Edmonds of the 1400 block of Corprew Ave., died Nov. 3, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mr. Edmonds was born in Bronx, N.Y., and was retired from the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include a daughter, Christina Selena Edmonds and a son, Emile Sekou Edmonds, both of Virginia Beach; his mother, Celeste Brown Edmonds of Norfolk; three sisters, Delores Edmonds and Gail Murphy, both of Norfolk, and Arnella Bennefield of New York; and a brother, Akbar Muhammad of St. Louis, Mo.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Carmel Baptist Church by Bishop Clarence V. Russell. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will assemble at the residence at noon Tuesday for the processional. There will be no public viewing. Full military honors will be accorded. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk, is in charge.
