LYMAN H. STONE JR.

Lyman Henry Stone Jr., 71, died Nov. 11, 1995, in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Stone was born in Lumberton, N.C, and was retired as an insurance salesman. He was the widower of Naida Ruth Shelby Stone and was a member of Kempsville Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.

Survivors include two daughters, Sue Stone Dunbar and Deborah Stone Agnolucci, and a son, David Lee Stone, all of Virginia Beach; a sister, Sally Mae Tebo, and two brothers, John Henry Stone and James Lennon Stone, all of Powells Point, N.C.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Kempsville Baptist Church by Dr. Kelly J. Burris. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the home of Deborah Agnolucci, 1036 Goldleaf Court, Virginia Beach, at other times. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23513.
