J. Howard Holland

FRANKLIN - J. Howard ``Dutch'' Holland, 85, of 909 Clay St., died Nov. 11, 1995.

Mr. Holland was a native of Holland, Va., and was the widower of Lennie Tingle Holland. He was the son of the late E.T. and Annie Lee Holland. He had retired as benefits manager for Union Camp Corporation and was a member of Franklin Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon and choir member. He was a 50-year member of the Franklin Lions Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Camp Matthews of Williamsburg and Trudy H. Mills of Lexington, Ky.; one sister, Mary Nelle Kelley of Chapel Hill, N.C.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Poplar Spring Cemetery by Dr. Ira D. Hudgins. Wright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
