Survivors include his wife, Doris W. Edmondson; two daughters, Deborah E. Perkins, Donna L. Smith of Virginia Beach; one son, Eugene Edmondson Jr. of Virginia Beach; six sisters, Corine Braswell, Arletha Hooks of Wilson, N.C., Vivian Coley of Fremont, N.C., Clementine Parker, Doris Lewis of Goldsboro, N.C., Betty Barnes of Dudley, N.C., Doretha Brown; special niece (sister) of Goldsboro; two brothers, Willie Ed Edmondson of Fremont, N.C., Ivy Miller Edmondson of Durham, N.C.; a grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
The body will be taken to church at 9:30 a.m. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. G.G. Campbell in New Calvary Baptist Church. Burial is in Rosewood Memorial Park. Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
