Chester Warren Smith, 83, of the 3800 block of Dare Circle, died Dec. 5, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Smith, the widower of Lois Smith, was a native of Rosland, Mass. He was a Catholic and a retired CWO from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service. He was a member of the Antiquity Masonic Lodge (NU)11 in Brentwood, N.Y., a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and Film Players Club Inc, since 1933. He was a decorated Air Force veteran of World War II, Korean War, and Viet Nam War.
Survivors include two sisters, Ruth E. Doyle of Norfolk, Olive Muratore of New York; numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service with military honors will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Edward Richardson.
