VIOLENCE TOO COMMON

After the bomb at Bayside High School, I have come to the conclusion that our society is becoming more corrupt each year. I am astonished that people could stoop so low as to plant a so-called bomb in a school restroom. But no longer is violence as shocking as a few years ago. It seems as though these acts have become the norm in today's society. Even through the bomb was a hoax, the fact that a Bayside student did this because he was ticked off at his teachers is absolutely unjustifiable.

The fire at Princess Anne High has left people devastated. Although those students have been in a number of different places to learn, it is not the same.

Both the bomb scare at Bayside High and the fire at Princess Anne High are evidence that violence is a common occurrence in today's society. An overwhelming majority of today's people are changing for the worse and are becoming a threat to our community.
