Caroline Hofler Young, 82, of 5187 Watson St. N.W., died Sunday, Dec. 17, 1995, in her home.
A native of Gates County, she was the daughter of the late James Luther and Mrs. Annie Brown Hofler. She was a homemaker and attended the Metropolitan Memorial Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Gorman Pierce Young; two daughters, Ann Gorman Young Griffith of Baltimore, Md. and Nancy Young Silbert of Ridgefield, Conn.; one son, James Gorman Young of Santa Fe, N.M.; one sister, Isabella Eastman of Gloucester, Va.; one brother, John G. Hofler of Raleigh; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Gatesville Baptist Church by the Rev Billy Presley. Burial will follow in the Gatesville Cemetery. Friends may join the family following the service in Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville.
