ELIZABETH H. WADE

Elizabeth ``Betty'' Ramsey Hutter Wade, a native of Isle of Wight County, died Monday, Dec. 18, 1995.

She was the daughter of the late John A. Ramsey and Nellie Cobb Ramsey of Isle of Wight County. She was predeceased by a husband, Harold H. Hutter Jr., a retired Major in the U.S. Marine Corps, and a son, H. Heyward Hutter III.

Mrs. Wade was a member of Second Baptist Church, Richmond. She attended Longwood College and graduated from Pan American Business College.

Survivors are a son, James Ramsey Hutter, who is making his home with his uncle, John A. Ramsey Jr. of 9172 Green Level Road, Ivor, Va.; her husband, Harvey M. Wade of Richmond; a sister, Nell Ramsey Smither of Suffolk; two brothers, Robert F. Ramsey of Smithfield and John A. Ramsey Jr. of Isle of Wight County; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, Smithfield. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Westhampton Memorial Park, Patterson Avenue and Gaskins Road, Richmond. The family requests flowers and memorials be withheld.
