Joseph P. Barker Jr., 37, died Dec. 27, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Barker, a driver for Suburban Cleaners, was a native of Norfolk. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Southern Wind Band and South Norfolk Moose Lodge (NU)464.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Barker; two daughters, Audrey Barker and Sara Barker, both of Norfolk; a son, David Barker of Norfolk; his parents, Joseph P. Barker Sr. and Janet Barker, both of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Patricia Almond of Norfolk and Vicki Barker of Virginia Beach.
The Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church by Father Lou Ruoff. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
