CLEANUP REGULATIONS

After the weekend's snow and ice storm, which downed a number of trees, cities have announced their regulations for cleanup.

Chesapeake: Supply name and address for limb pickup: call 547-6420 and leave the information in a recorded message.

Norfolk: Limbs should be no more than 4 feet long; multiple limbs should be tied into bundles. Place out on regular trash pick-up day.

Portsmouth: Limbs should be kept to a length of no more than 10 feet. Place out on regular trash pick-up day. Call 393-8663.

Suffolk: All tree refuse should be put with regular trash.

Virginia Beach: Limbs must be no more than 6 inches in diameter and refuse piles need to be no more than 4 feet square. Place out on regular trash pick-up day. all 430-2450.
