ROGER L. LEVESQUE

Roger L. LeVesque, 81, of the 200 block of Sedgefield Ave., died Feb. 23, 1996, in a local hospital.

Mr. LeVesque, a retired planner and estimator, worked for the Norfolk Naval Air Station for 32 years. He was a native of Maine and a member of St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church, where he was involved with St. Gregory's Senior Citizen's Club, Knights of Columbus, and the Men's Club of St. Gregory Catholic Church. He was a senior Olympic medalist.

Survivors include his wife, Douglas F. LeVesque; a daughter, Gwen L. Dodson of Virginia Beach; a son, Douglas Roger LeVesque Sr. of Norfolk; two sisters, Doris Engel of Florida and Verdie Cerny of Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday by Father Damin Abbaticchio O.S.B. at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Maplewood Cemetery, Durham, N.C. A Christian wake service will be held at the church at 8 p.m. today. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is in charge.
