Mary A. Uzzle

VIRGINIA BEACH - Mary Askew Uzzle, of the 700 block of 16th St., died March 7, 1996, at Virginia Beach General Hospital.

Mrs. Uzzle, a housewife, was a native of Elizabeth City, N.C., and a member of First Baptist Church, Lynnhaven.

Survivors include her husband, Haywood Tazewell Uzzle; and two sisters, Esther Carter and Catherine Williams, both of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Lynnhaven, by the Rev. Edgar L. Williams. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing Tuesday at 3 p.m. The remains will be taken to the church at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The family will assemble at the residence for the procession at 11:30 a.m. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
