FLOYD R. ARNER

Floyd R. Arner, 79, died March 14, 1996, in his residence. Mr. Arner was a native of Tarentum, Pa. He was the son of the late Rose L. and John E. Arner.

He is survived by two sisters, Dorothy R. Grines and Sara L. Stewart of Natrona Heights, Pa.; a stepson, Ronald M. Simmons of Moyock, N.C.; his best friend, Leona I. Ryan; several step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Arner was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and a member of Knights of Columbus Council (NU)367 and a veteran of World War II.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in Christ the King Catholic Church. A Christian Wake service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk chapel, where visitation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
