A pedestrian who was hit by a car on Portsmouth Boulevard on March 6 died this week, police said Friday.
Police spokeswoman Amber Whitaker said injuries from the accident in the 1600 block of Portsmouth Blvd. apparently led to the death of Albert Jacobs, 59, of the 2500 block of Des Moines Ave.
Jacobs had been in the hospital since the accident. He died Tuesday.
Whitaker said the case is still being investigated, but no charges have been filed.
