Billy Goodman Bateman, of the 800 block of Silvercrest Lane, died March 29, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was a native of Nansemond County, Va., and a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, John L. Bateman; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday by Dr. Ken Barnes in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Union Mission.
