BLAKE D. WOOLARD SR.

Blake Donald Woolard Sr., 59, of the 300 block of Faire Chase, died March 28, 1996, in a Chesapeake hospital.

He was a retired secretary/treasurer for Floors Unlimited. He was a native of Washington, N.C., and the widower of Margie Woolard. He attended Avalon Church of Christ.

He is survived by a son, Blake Donald Woolard of Chesapeake; four sisters, Johnnie Goodbred of Chesapeake, Dera Mae Silverthorn, Frances Newcomb, and Sue Woolard, all of Washington, N.C.; four brothers, Henry Woolard and F.V. ``Sammy'' Woolard, both of Norfolk, Phil Woolard of Chesapeake, Jerry Woolard of Washington; and his fiancee, Deborah Friddle of Chesapeake.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday by the Rev. James Bennett in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. Burial is in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and also at 3128 Rebecca Drive, Chesapeake, at other times.
