Ruth Coddington, 85, died Saturday, April 13, 1996.
A native of Wise County, Va., she was a former employee of Williamsburg Restoration Inc. and retired from A.P.V.A. in Jamestown.
Mrs. Coddington is survived by a daughter, Peggy C. Barker and her husband James N. Barker Jr. of Wakefield; a sister, Bernice C. Nightengale of Richmond; three grandchildren, Lisa Counts Barker, Todd Nicholas Barker of Los Angeles and Karen Burch Barker of Richmond.
A service will be held in Christ Episcopal Church, Waverly, Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Williamsburg, at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
