JESSE W. ADDISON JR.

Jesse William Travis Addison Jr., a native of Smithfield and son of the late Jesse William and Rose Adele Thomas Addison, passed away April 28, 1996, in Portsmouth.

Mr. Addison, a retired high school teacher, taught for many years in the school systems of Prince George, Hopewell, Suffolk and Isle of Wight. He was an avid dog fancier, having owned and shown Dalmatians and French Bulldogs during his lifetime. He was an Episcopalian.

Survivors include four cousins, Carolyn Chapman Neese of Etowah, Tenn., Kaye Chapman Hagerman of Newport News, Jane Crosier Spiers of Petersburg, and Thomas E. Leonard of Portsmouth.

Graveside services in Mill Swamp Cemetery, Isle of Wight County, will be private. Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial donations to an Animal Humane Society of their choice.
