CLIFTON HANNAH

Clifton ``Bud'' Hannah, 60, of the 4300 block of Emporia Ave., died May 4, 1996.

He was a retired welding instructor for the Norfolk Naval Depot and a native of Pitt County, N.C. He was a member of the Naval Retirement Employees Association. He was a one-in-a-million husband and father, our beloved Bud.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Rapp Hannah; six daughters, Carolyn Persinger of Virginia Beach, Anita Holmes of Hampton, Bonnie Sue Beach of Chesapeake, Jane Whitaker of Bethel, N.C., Linda Diane Dixon of Grimesland, N.C., and Lorrie Hannah of North Carolina; two sons, Marshall William Beach of Virginia Beach and Clifton Hannah Jr. of North Carolina; three sisters, Alice Cannon of Norfolk, Deffi Ann Beacham of Greenville, N.C., and Lula Beacham of North Carolina; three brothers, Roy Hannah of Raleigh, N.C., Jasper Hannah of Lowland, N.C., and Linwood Hannah of Leland, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel. Burial is in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. and at the residence at all other times.
