Adelina Teixeira, 85, of the 5000 block of Glenwood Way, died May 6, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was a a native of New Bedford, Mass., and the widow of Henry E. Teixeira.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Baumer of Virginia Beach; sister, Mary Baptiste of New Bedford, Mass; four grandchildren, Michael Rezendes of Newport News, Va., David Rezendes of Hayward, Calif., Debbie Matthews of Virginia Beach, Linda Lebert of Portsmouth; eight great-grandchildren, Michele and Tina Matthews, Joey Rezendes and Alyssa Calderone, all of Virginia Beach; Ryan, Jacob, Nicole and Jewelene Rezendes, all of California.
A funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home a half hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
