PORTSMOUTH - Jean Louise Thorogood Rollins ``Granny'' Andrews, 66, of the 1100 block of Mount Vernon Ave., died May 23, 1996, at Sentara Nursing Center of Portsmouth.
She was born in Portsmouth and was a member of Third Baptist Church, Portsmouth, and member of the church's Womens Guild and Sunday school. She was a member of Martha Chapter (NU)10, Order of Eastern Star, Household of Ruth, Continental Social and Savings Club, and a member of the Order of Tents.
Survivors include four daughters, Barbara R. White, Denise D. Rollins and Deborah L. Coats, all of Portsmouth, and Morris C. Staton of Chesapeake; three sons, Dwight J. Rollins of Springdale, Md., Wayne E. Rollins of Oxon Hill, Md., and Varon C. Rollins of Lahman, Md.; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; an uncle, Beverly J. Thorogood; cousins, in-laws and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming at Third Baptist Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. Monday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
