We regret to announce the passing of Peggy Ann Fowler who died July 10, 1996, in her 41st year.

Mrs. Fowler was born in Queens, N.Y. Trained in hotel and restaurant management through the City University of New York, she was the food and beverage controller at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York City. Since moving to Chesapeake eight years ago, she had been a premium auditor for American International Group, Inc.

She was the beloved wife of John Fowler and loving mother of Kendra. She is also survived by her parents, Ida and Bill Von Geldern; sisters, Dorothy and Jeanette; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

A funeral mass will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Catholic Church of the St. Mark, Kempsville Road with the Father Daniel Klem officiating. The family will receive friends in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, today and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The family respectfully requests that donations, in lieu of flowers, be made to the American Cancer Society.
