TIMOTHY L. DAVIS

Timothy L. ``Tim'' Davis, 29, of the 900 block of St. Paul St., died July 13, 1996, in a local hospital.

He was born in Norfolk and was a cook for the Naval Base. He was a member of Center of Love Church of God In Christ, Norfolk, and he attended Booker T. Washington High School.

He is survived by his mother, Stella Davis; two sisters, Denise Davis and Kesha Saunders, both of Norfolk; three aunts, Susie Jones, Catherine Davis, both of Norfolk, Wanda West of Chesapeake; two great-aunts, Bertha L. Bell of Chesapeake, Roxie McKinnley of Portsmouth; godfather, Ronnie Chapman of Norfolk; six uncles, Edward Davis, James Davis, Dennis B. West, Robert Jones, all of Norfolk, Horace W. West Jr. of Chesapeake, Ellison Davis Jr. of Philadelphia; one great-uncle, Jerry L. Anthony of Portsmouth; one niece and four nephews; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday in Center of Love Church of God In Christ by Elder Lee Billups. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk, is in charge. Family and friends will assemble at 1042 Liberty St., Norfolk, on Thursday at noon for funeral procession to the church. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
