RAYMOND FLEMMING

Raymond ``Jack'' Flemming of the 1500 block of Hoover St. died July 14, 1996, in Norfolk Health Care Center.

Born in Norfolk County, Va., he was the widower of Ernestine Flemming. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Westmunden, Chesapeake.

Survivors include four sisters, Rozella Ruffin and Pinkie Edlow of Virginia Beach and Nettie Livingston and Mattie E. Noel of Norfolk; a brother, Norman Flemming of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; a stepson, Walter Brooks of Chesapeake; and many other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church, Westmunden, by the Rev. Dr. John L. Ashby. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fitchett Funeral Home is in charge. The family will be at 1901 E. Liberty St., Chesapeake.
