Dorothy Powers Odell, 69, died Thursday July 18, 1996.
Born in Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late Gordon H. and Annie Goodwin Powers. She attended William and Mary College, and was a member of the Columbia Bridge Club and Union United Methodist Church, Irmo.
Survivors include her husband, Fitzhugh Bland Odell Jr.; sons, F. Bland Odell III of Atlanta, Ga., and Gordon Randolph Odell of Columbia; daughters, Theresa O. Dubsky of Atlanta and Lane Beach of Salisbury, Md.; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held today at 11 a.m. in Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, Irmo. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, is in charge. Memorials may be made to Union United Methodist Church.
