The City of Suffolk has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.
The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada cited Suffolk for excellence in its Fiscal Year 1994-95 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. The certificate is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting and represents a significant accomplishment by the city and its management.
This is the 13th consecutive year that the city has received the GFOA's distinguished award. by CNB
