Charles Martinette
VIRGINIA BEACH - Charles Martinette, 75, died Aug. 3, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Martinette, a native of Portsmouth, retired as the owner and vice president of Southern Beauty Supply Co. For the last 13 years, he was employed by Farm Fresh supermarket, Great Neck Road. He was a member of Thalia Lynn Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rae J. Martinette; a daughter, Bonnie M. Wheeler and her husband, Jock, of Virginia Beach; a son, Larry J. Martinette of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Rose Pascarosa of Norfolk, Estelle Facenda of Suffolk, Adeline Chiera of Suffolk; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, David C. Martinette.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Mark Olsen. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Auxiliary of Sentara Hospitals-Norfolk Funds, Volunteer Office, 600 Gresham Drive, Norfolk, Va. 23507 or to Eastern Virginia Medical Foundation, Development Office, 358 Mowbray Arch, Norfolk, Va. 23508.
