Lokie F. ``Peter'' Sumner Jr., 43, died Aug. 11, 1996 in Ocala, Fla.
He was a native of Franklin, who came to Belleview from Como, N.C., 11 years ago. Mr. Sumner worked in retail management, and was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam.
He is survived by his sisters, Anna Swor of Weirsdale, Fla., Patricia Mead of Miami, Fla., and Joyclynn Paterson of Raleigh, N.C.; a brother, John W. Sumner of Como; many aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Johnny Sumner, Parker's Ferry Road, Como, N.C. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to your local hospice or the Como Fire and Rescue Dept., in memory of Mr. Sumner Jr. Roberts Funeral Home, Ocala, is in charge.
