ELECT WINNING PLAN

Cutting taxes and cutting spending have already been used successfully to balance the federal budget.

After World War II, Democratic President Harry S. Truman drastically cut taxes and federal spending at the same time. What happened? Truman balanced the federal budget by the end of his term.

Being a teenager at the time, I recall that my Dad (a World War II veteran) was finally able to buy a house. Why? He took home more pay after taxes than he otherwise would have.

Republican presidential candidate Bob Dole's centerpiece agenda is much like the Truman plan described above.

Let's elect Bob Dole and his winning plan. It works!
