KIRN LIBRARY TO OPEN SUNDAYS, OFFER MORE CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS

Kirn Memorial Library, located at 301 E. City Hall Ave., will expand its operational hours and increase the number of children's programs offered.

Starting on Sept. 8, the library will open Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. To celebrate, the library will have an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. that day to give visitors a chance to learn about the programs available.

The library also will begin offering drop-in programs from 1 to 4 p.m. every Saturday for children of all ages.

Parents may bring their children anytime during these hours to join the activity of the day.
