Eva Sydenia Humphreys, 90, of the 2300 block of Bayberry St., died Sept. 19, 1996. She was born in Phoebus, Va.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon Dixon Humphreys; two brothers, Alton M. Butler and Marion V.P. Butler, both of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Sarah J. Backman of Green Bay, Wis., Timmothy P. Backman of Dollar Bay, Mich.; and a great-grandson.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Rosewood Memorial Park. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is handling arrangements. By the request of the family, flowers are to be omitted.
