MARY H. DOUGHTIE

Mary Harrell Doughtie, 79, of the 5200 block of Lake Circle Drive died Oct. 1, 1996, after along illness.

A native of Portsmouth, Mrs. Doughtie was a member of Churchland Baptist Church. She was the widow of Robert F. Doughtie.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara D. Horton of Portsmouth, Mac D. Houfek and Elsie D. Waddell, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Eleanor Garner of Portsmouth; brothers, Wilbur Harrell and Gordon Harrell, both of Portsmouth; six grandchildren, Kimberley P. Jones, Robert F. Horton, T. Bradley Horton, Ryan D. Houfek, Chad P. Houfek and R.J. Waddell; and a great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Olive Branch Cemetery by Dr. Clint Hopkins. Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, 70 E. Lake St., Suite 600, Chicago, Ill. 60601.
