Samuel J. Clifton, 91, died Jan. 7, 1997.
Mr. Clifton was a member of Corinth United Methodist Church and a retired employee of Liggett-Myers Tobacco Co.
Survivors include two nieces, Joanne C. Parker, Joyce Johnson, and a nephew, Joseph D. Clifton, all of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today in Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond. Nelson Funeral Home, Richmond, is handling arrangements.
