Carrie L. Saunders, 98, of the 700 block of Dorset Ave. died Jan. 19, 1997.
A native of Halifax, N.C., Mrs. Saunders was the widow of James R. Saunders.
Survivors include her daughter, Doris E. Sorrell; three grandchildren; great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; eight nieces; and a nephew.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Fisher Funeral Home by the Rev. A.J. Spellman. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake.
