NATHANIEL DEBERRY

Nathaniel DeBerry, of the 200 block of Stonewall St., died Jan. 19, 1997, in Richmond.

A native of Southampton County, he was retired after 25 years with Union Camp Corp. He was a member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church, Franklin.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ater L. DeBerry; two daughters, Glenda D. Taylor of Richmond, Linda Epps of Columbia, Md.; a son, Langston DeBerry of Richmond; two sisters, Beatrice Lassiter of Richmond, Florence Boone of Chesapeake; a brother, David DeBerry of Aberdeen, Md.; and five grandchildren.

A funeral was conducted Thursday in New Mount Zion Baptist Church by the Rev. D.S. Adams. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery, Franklin. Wm. M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
